Jessie Juarez, MS, DVM
Jessie Juarez is an Assistant Director for Student Initiatives with the American Veterinary Medical Association. In this role she serves as a regional advisor for SAVMA chapters at veterinary schools in the Western US and in the UK.
Jessie is a graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has also earned MS degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Education at Iowa State. Jessie has worked in large animal private practice, academia prior to her role at AVMA.
Jessie has been involved with VLI since 2018 when she attended VLE as a participant. Following this experience, she attended Trek in 2022 and has served as a VLE facilitator since 2022.
In her free time, Jessie enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, and walks with her Golden Retrievers.
