Jonathan TubbsDVM

Jonathan Tubbs is a small animal veterinarian and serial entrepreneur with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the veterinary and agricultural sectors. Dr. Tubbs holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University, a Master of Science from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Science with a Certificate in Leadership Studies from Western Kentucky University. Tubbs is now a proud owner of a multisite veterinary business focusing on small animal medicine and spectrum of care. Additionally, Tubbs is a very proud father and husband and has the fortune of working with his wife who is also a small animal veterinarian.

Tubbs first began his involvement with VLI as a participant of VLE in 2018 through his position with national SAVMA board. He returned in 2022 as a facilitator and has continued to return every year in the facilitator capacity. Most recently, Tubbs has used his business and finance acumen to take on the role of chair for the VLI financial task force.

In his free time you can find Dr. Tubbs enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with his son, playing beach volleyball on the weekends, and connecting with friends and colleagues.
