I am in my first year as faculty at Texas A&M University in the Primary Care and General Surgery programs. Previously I spent many years working at a very large animal shelter in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shelter medicine and spay/neuter/low cost surgery programs are a huge interest of mine and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach some of this to students. Outside of work, I also have a passion for charity and aid programs for both people and animals. My favorite charity is Be the Change Volunteers which builds schools in impoverished areas around the world.

Favorite Harriet’s kitchen: Everything breakfast.

Favorite thing: I love to travel, experience different cultures, and meet new people.
