Shannon Reed grew up in Las Vegas, NV. She went to vet school at the University of Missouri and did her surgical residency at Oregon State. She currently works at The Ohio State University as an Associate Clinical Professor of Equine surgery. She has been coming to VLE as a participant and then facilitator since 2010.  

Her favorite food at Ross Point is Cheesy Chicken Casserole. 

Her favorite way to recharge is hiking with her husband and their two Australian Cattle dogs Watson and Crick, or riding one of her two Thoroughbreds Nate and Q. And yoga, she likes yoga. But she’s bad at it.
